Just a quick fact(s)

Each UK prisoner costs £45,000 a year - one and a half times as much as it takes to send a boy to Eton. That brings my piss to the boil frankly, but it isnt all bad, I also bring you a chart which I found to be very interesting, hope it helps some of you out.

  1. Interesting chart. It would be nice to see what study backs all of that up though. "Scientific evidence" is pretty subjective.

  12. What the heck, people who work really hard in England earn way less then that. e,g bus drives, construction workers. So why do prisoners cost so much to run?

  14. I don't get why it costs so much to keep prisoners in prison. They could use that money for a lot better things.
